The chalet

The Chalet has a lovely spot within the park. It is on the top corner of the central lawn area, which makes it quiet and private. The front door to the chalet opens onto a small patio area, with a picnic bench, and then a lawn, perfect for relaxing in the sun, and watching the sun go down. This spot keeps the summer sun late into the evening.

Chalet number 38 has a comfortable open plan lounge kitchen area, that makes the best of being  sociable, comfortable and and cooking. The kitchen has a small oven/grill, a two ring hob and a microwave. There is a breakfast bar. The hot water in the kitchen works from a tank which you switch on in the cupboard in the bunk room. We do ask that you do not leave it on all the time as we are trying to be environmentally friendly. Just put it on an hour before you need to use it. It also heats the water for the bath and bathroom sink. the shower has its own heater.

The lounge side of the main room, has a large L-shaped sofa bed, and a small dining table that seats two, that can go inside or out. There is also a fold away table if you want to seat more, for eating or board games. A small smart tv is attached to the wall, and pivots so  it can be viewed from lounge, or kitchen area. There is also a small dvd player.

In the bathroom, there is a shower over a small bath, perfect for showering the kids down when you return from the beach, but also great if you want to soak with a gin and tonic.

There is a small hallway between the bedrooms, that leads to the bathroom, and a back door that opens onto a very private small tiered patio area, where you can enjoy the breakfast sunlight.

The Chalet has wifi connection so you can keep in touch with the outside world if you need to. The phone reception is varied depending on what next work you have. Vodaphone tends to work well in the chalet but other networks are inconsistent, as they are across a lot of the Gower
