Arrival at the moment is 3pm due to ensuring we have time to to our enhanced cleaning, and leave the chalet to air.
We hope you enjoy your stay with us, here are a few guidelines we hope will help.
There is No Smoking in the Chalets please.
If you find there is something you need, or is not as you want it, please let us know sooner rater than later so we can try to sort something out for you, rather than leave it and give a bad review. We are always happy to try to help.
Condensation
Chalets are different to houses, they need to breath to stop a build up of condensation, especially in the spring, or if it is raining. If you leave the windows on vent when you sleep, or go out it helps a lot.
Please open the bathroom window during and after a shower, especially in Chalet 38, this really helps to stop the build up of condensation.

The shower is turned on by a pull switch in the bathroom. Please switch off when you have finished as the shower switch also runs the air vent.
Chalet 38
The hot water for the kitchen, and the bath are supplied by an immersion heater tank in the bunk bed room. The switch on is in the cupboard in the bunk-room, on the right. please do not leave the heater on constantly, it heats quickly so put it on an hour or so before you need it.
The shower has it’s own heater, the switch on is in the corner by the window in the bathroom.
Parking on site
Chalet 38 has a 3 car parking space close by, it is not strictly for the use of 38, but there is usually the understanding that one of these spaces is used by 38. If you bring more then one car then there is guest parking at the beach end of the car.
Chalet 4 has a dedicated parking space along side the chalet big enough for one large car or two small. Any guests please park in the guest parking at the beach end of the car park.
Dogs
please keep your dog on a lead around the chalet park, and clear up after them. Please try not to let your dogs mess on the lawn areas as children play on these.
Do not leave the dogs shut in the chalet especially during the summer months they can get very warm, which is dangerous for you dog.
The local beach only allows dogs on the Caswell beach in the winter months. They are banned from 1st of May until 30th Sept. The council have been known to issue fines. You can. You can take you dogs on brandy cove which is the next beach around….you can find more information here.
